Super DLTtape I (SDLT1) is the next generation DLT tape platform. Built upon the proven success of the DLT tape system, the defacto industry standard for mid-range computing backup and archive applications. The Super DLTtape I cartridge has a native capacity of 110 GB on a SDLT 220 Drive, 160 GB on a SDLT 320 and a native transfer rate of greater than 10 MB/second. For LTO-1, LTO-2 and LTO-3 tape drives. LTO Universal Cleaning Cartridge. Compatible with LTO Ultrium drives, Equipped with a computer memory chip, 50 cleanings per cartridge max. For use on all LTO Ultrium 2 drives and *most LTO Ultrium 1 drives. LTO Universal cleaning tapes are equipped with a computer memory chip (just like the data tape). The chip stores various information and it has an embedded code that is recognized by the compatible drive's firmware. Once the cleaning cartridge is used to capacity (15 - 50 uses, drive dependent), the drive will no longer accept the cleaning tape and will eject the tape, prohibiting further use.

The LTO Ultrium 6 cartridge offers a super high compressed (2.5×) storage capacity of 6.25TB with the transfer rate of up to 400 megabytes per second.

This 4mm DDS tape cartridge is 125 meters long and stores 12GB of uncompressed data and 24GB of compressed data. Sony's DDS (Digital Data Storage) cartridges last up to 1,000 write/rewrite cycles, feature a heat resistant shell that withstands high temperature, a anti-static shell that attracts less dust and helps maintain low error rates, and internal components that are designed to reduce torque and provide better drive compatability.

The SDX2-36C is an AIT-2 (Advance Intelligent Tape) 8mm data tape cartridge by Sony. The Sony SDX2-36C AIT-2 comprises of a 16KB memory chip. The Tape length of SDX2-36C is 170M and it can store up to 36GB uncompressed and 72GB with compressed data. The Sony AIT-2 SDX2-36C tape cartridge features both an MIC chipand a pure metal magnetic layer designed for maximum capacity and longevity. The AIT-2 SDX2-36C tape cartridges feature MIC (Memory in Cassette) which is a built-in flash memory chip that stores directory and operational information.

HP DLT/SDLT Data Cartridges offer high capacity and low cost per GB for customers with existing investments in DLT backup technology. HP SDLT II cartridges support DLTSage for improved media and drive diagnostics, enabling IT managers and network staff to better manage, predict and proactively prevent backup problems. DLTIce allows cartridges to be formatted as WORM tapes for compliance with regulations on data retention and archiving. To increase capacity, SDLT II transfers optical servo guide information to the other surface of the media, increasing the number of recording tracks on the data-bearing media surface. HP’s DLT/SDLT media is exhaustively qualified for use with HP and non-HP DLT/SDLT drives. 

The Fujifilm (16456574) LTO Ultrium 7 Tape cartridge is created with Barium Ferrite magnetic particles. The LTO Ultrium 7 cartridge has a capacity limit of 6TB local and up to 15TB with an exchange rate of up to 400 megabytes for every second. LTO Ultrium 7 equipment fuses the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Fujifilm (16456574) LTO 7 tape cartridges are able to do long life file for more than 30 years.
